The Arca-Swiss Cube is without question the most advanced and precise tripod head on the market. Why is this so much more important today than it used to be?

The C1 Cube is perfect for landscape, still life and architectural photography, as it allows the photographer to adjust even heavy cameras with absolute accuracy.
The Cube has two panoramic axes: the lower one at the base and the upper one for horizontal panning, e.g. for accurate panoramic shots.
The fine gear mechanism allows fine adjustment of the X and Y axes. The two adjustment wheels are easy and smooth to operate due to the self-locking gear mechanism.
What does "GP" mean?
GP stands for geared panning and means that the upper panorama can optionally be freely panned or geared for a smooth continuous movement.
What does quick set device "classic" mean?
The classic lever clamps the camera plate or L-bracket by rotation.

Wer Präzision sucht und das Budget hat, wird nicht enttäuscht.
Ich hatte schon lange vor, mir einen C1 zuzulegen. Zugegebenermaßen hat mich zum einen der Preis und zum anderen der Gedanke an eine eventuell nur sporadische Nutzung lange von der Anschaffung abgehalten. Natürlich habe ich auch einige wesentlich günstigere Produkte ausprobiert, aber seit ich den C1 in der gp Version nutze, erscheint der Rest ziemlich holprig und grob. Die Verarbeitung und Präzision des C1 ist einfach toll und sollte, auch aufgrund der massiven, aber äußerst kompakten Bauweise, recht lange gute Dienste leisten. Wenn man persönlich den Anspruch auf feinste geometrische/ fotografische Einstellungen hat, dann ist der C1 (gp - auch in der Panorama-Achse feingetrieben - für mich als Architekt extrem wichtig) sicherlich die beste Wahl.

Das "geared panning" hat sich bei mir bereits nach kürzester Zeit absolut bewährt. Eine wirklich wunderbare Option an diesem außergewöhnlichen Stativkopf!

I had high expectations, which were both met and exceeded. The purchase price was high, but if I'm not mistaken it will be a one-time cost.
