Productinformation in detail
In the rear format frame the focusing screen frame of the ARCA-SWISS is fitted.
As a result of the pressure exerted when fixing the focusing screen frame (with 4x5" of the international back) on the format frame, this locks safely into place with the bayonet mount. The same is, of course, also true for the bellows on the other side.
According to the size of the film holder or focusing screen frame, i.e. the desired camera, film or digital back size, the following format frames are used: - 6x9cm for digital backs - 4x5" for analogue films or also for DBs with the reduction plate - 5x7" for films - 8x10" for films
There are 3 format frames with different constructions. f-classic: the focusing screen is moved upwards manually and fixed with the locking knob.
f-metric: the focusing screen is moved upwards by means of a self-locking gear mechanism.
m-line: the focusing screen is moved upwards with the function carrier.
