The rotaFoot adapter allows mirrorless cameras to be easily adapted to the rear function carrier of Arca-Swiss view cameras. The rotaFoot combines the potential of the latest digital camera technology with the outstanding design and precision of the ARCA-SWISS view camera system. Equipped with a bayonet, the rotaFoot rotation mechanism enables a quick and easy change between landscape and portrait format. These two positions are marked by a grid, which can be overridden for non-mechanically limited rotation. The system is self-locking and the housing can be held in any position.
The bellows remains attached to the rotaFoot during handling and change of orientation, so the digital sensor not exposed to dust or other environmental influences. The rotaFoot offers height adjustment that allows easy mounting and centring of a variety of mirrorless cameras with ARCA-SWISS view cameras. While adjusting the height and centring the digital camera, the rise/fall height on the function carrier scale is kept at zero. The height adjustment is only required once, the setting is fixed with three screws.
